Crispin (Ultra Rare) $10.28 Card Number: #164/142 Rarity: Ultra Rare Crispin hits the list with his full-art Ultra Rare, illustrated by GIDORA against a desert canyon backdrop that suits his competitive energy
This issue reminds me of a superhero card game I used to play called VS System where you drew two cards per turn to help make up for the fact that one card per turn would be turned into a resource
Dive into the world of Pokemon and experience the thrill of victory with this deck that combines power, strategy, and nostalgia
Making matters worse, to support backup commander Zaxara, the Exemplary, the deck also has some random X-spells that are not especially playable as well as creatures like Hungering Hydra and Vastwood Hydra, which don't do much to support the primary mutate theme (other than possibly add a creature with some +1/+1 counters to the battlefield to mutate on)
While the current market price remains dangerously close to the line between single and double digits, the ever-growing Pokemon TCG market might help it reach new heights
