what cards are banned in commander mtg Why is this card banned in commander? : r/mtg Ban List - Centurion Commander

At the beginning of combat on your first turn, Ezuri's ability triggers, and you can put at least five +1/+1 counters on a creature

As an example, if you have three 1/1 Green squirrels with 2 +1/+1 counters on them each, they are still base power 1 creatures

Sultai commander Felix Five-Boots has a triggered ability that effectively doubles Adel's card-stealing ability, letting you nab two artifacts from the unlucky opponent's library and cast either or both

In recent years Wizards of the Coast have sought a way to change the way they deliver cards to players

It boosts its shipmates according to how many times it (or another friendly commander) has been cast from the command zone, so it can attack, die, then get recast from the command zone to fight again

The transformation ability is quite subtle when viewed in isolation, but it does provide a win condition to bypass blockers like those with lifelink to secure a lethal strike
