So consequently, Wizards of the Coast reduced the amount of oversized commanders in a precon to just one the face card and let the idea percolate a bit more
In addition to the four scene boxes, Wizards of the Coast will also be rolling out new Special Edition Collector Boosters for Tales of Middle-Earth around the same time, which will potentially include any of twenty cards from the original set in a brand new 60s rock poster art style as well as rare serialized versions of these cards numbered up through 100
While all Isshin decks want to attack, this is another commander that you can build in a few ways, as there are loads of strong creature cards to choose from, and plenty of room for building up subthemes
The point is that once it hits a certain threshold of usefulness, its not at all unprecedented for a rare from New Phyrexia to be $10, or even $15
Plus, opening up to black also doubles your chances of finding efficient beaters that fit into Oboshs odd-CMC requirement like Kederekt Parasite , Pestilent Spirit , and Syr Konrad the Grim
If you go with something like Sheoldred, you can even offset the loss of life
