The Princess Bride and Evil Dead are coming to Magic: The Gathering in the Secret Lair Spookdrop 2023 on October 2, 2023

Given how much fun SOI Limited has been, were expecting good things, with the early/late split of many of the cards in EMN helping to make a format thats full of choices without being paralysingly complex

Neither mode is crazy of course, but the modality this gives you makes it a decent inclusion

As an added bonus, if you manage to deal four direct damage to any opponent during your turn, you get to draw a card

Still, its a fantastic workhorse of a card, and might be more consistent to give you value than Crafty Cutpurse

All in all, milling your opponent out isnt a particularly great strategy, and lets face it: there are much better cards youd want to play than Trepanation Blade
