proxy base set booster box 1st Edition Pokemon Base Set Booster Box

HEROES WILL FALL Jace Jace Belerens power to manipulate minds finally met its match when he found his own consciousness dominated by the shadowy thrall of New Phyrexia

This is largely due to the previously mentioned issue of Thoughtseize costing two life

This ranges from +1/+1 counters on a creature you control to -1/-1 counters on a creature you (ideally) dont control to planeswalker loyalty counters, charge counters on artifacts, level-up counters, etc

With Edric out, you can keep the pressure off of you and keep your opponents working with and against each other to draw cards

If you're in a removal-heavy meta and you know this weird card will get blown up before you get to put that third study counter on it, you might want to pass on Pursuit of Knowledge, but I like it enough to be willing to give it a try

The full set contains 64 cards plus 12 AR, 10 SR, 5 SAR and 3 UR cards (Total of 94 cards in the set)
