if the trigger resolves, then: If you have less than six lands, then the first part of the trigger happens and you get a 1/1 green insect, But if you have six or more lands, out comes the sharpie and Scute Swarms trigger now reads: create a 1/1 green Insect creature token token thats a copy of this creature. Scute Swarm is also a great example of a self-replacement effect
That said, I think that aristocrats/sacrifice would make sense here for Golgari and the story and the other archetypes we've covered so far
