Another of my favorites from the set, The Book of Exalted Deeds, is a fantastic new payoff for lifegain decks

Not content with being a card draw piece in Vampire tribal decks, this gorgeously illustrated Cleric is as much at home in Cleric Tribal, Liesa, Shroud of Dusk Group Slug decks, or the new Strefan, Maurer Progenitor precon deck (which we have a handy upgrade guide to)

For example, if a source deals 5 damage to you, you may exile one permanent, two cards from hand, and two cards from your graveyard

Sokkas discount ability gets better in a dedicated Allies build, though so far there isnt a ton of support for an Ally Equipment deck

While Elves have become the most prominent creature type in Green, Fungi and Saprolings have continued to receive intermittent support over the years

Hes one of the most oppressive commanders this side of Elesh Norn, so seeing him here as Gary is hilarious
