Rather than having a sideboard full of creatures so that the deck can adjust its Collected Company hits, this deck can become decidedly more controlling as needed, freely abandoning other elements of the deck
While Rogue is not more powerful than Pia and Kiran Nalaar, the activiated ability (and only difference bar the cost to the cards) being no mana and instantly useful makes it have greater impact in cube, simply through happening sooner and more often
Other than that, we have a big VMAX Pokemon with 330HP, so if we can get out our 2nd Kyurem VMAX, they will have a bit more complicated
