Split Up is a three-mana mass removal spell that will no doubt create headaches in Standard - it's excellent at removing blockers after an alpha-strike from an army of tokens , for instance, but it's also a great early answer to a deck curving out into threats on turns one through three
But there is an absurd amount of competition, to the point where 2019 might be the most broken year in the modern era of Magic
While giving each opponent a 1/1 is an annoying price to pay for this, it really isnt a big deal in the grand scheme of things, as youll effectively have access to a one-time boost of 3 mana most of the time
Upgrading this deck, I'd get rid of all of that and start building to something like the tier-one Badgermole Cub decks
While you could certainly just play Krrik fair as one of the 99 in a mono-black deck as a way to occasionally cast spells ahead of time, this legend shines in a deck built to truly abuse it
