The restriction to the colorless identity is significant and made up for by rampant mana rocks that make high-cost spells easy to achieve

This makes these sneaky shapeshifters a great fit for many different tribal decks, fitting a number of different interesting niches

The only reasons it isn't higher are because it requires a costly six mana each turn to pull off, eating into resources you could be spending winning, and because needing two colours in your colour identity limits the decks it could fit into

They didn't even bother to check their spelling

Back in the day - and probably presently as well - the Taker was taking everything...then letting you cast it

Magic players would certainly benefit from utilizing this card in the draft format
