mtg modal double-faced cards Evaluating All Thirty-Six Magic the Gathering Adventures: Ixalan

Crime Creatures Moving on to the crime portion of the creatures, this is where I had the most fun building the deck

1 Chatterfang, Squirrel General The Squirrel King Easily the best Squirrel commander around, Chatterfang, Squirrel General takes the acorn with his unstoppable token generation and incredibly powerful removal abilities tacked on to just one creature

Its quite possible that this card is going to become a staple piece of removal in Standard over the next year

Theyre mostly legendary creatures, though there are some planeswalkers that can be your commander, and one in particular that fits this list very well

We tried everything we could to beat it, including maindeck copies of High Noon and Magebane Lizard

I went with Treasure Cruise, even though Dig Through Time is better for combo decks
