Mew EX SAR ($120+) Now putting trainer cards aside and getting to more Pokemon related cards, one of the most wanted cards in the set features Mew, the Pokemon also on the booster box
The abundance of creatures in Commander games means that Vanquish the Horde will often cost a paltry two-mana, most likely leaving its caster with plenty left over to take advantage of the empty, newly vanquished battlefield
Continuing the Mega Evolution Series, the set introduces four Mega Pokmon never before seen in the TCG, including Mega Zygarde, Mega Starmie, Mega Clefable, and Mega Skarmory, alongside a rich cast of Pokmon and Trainers drawn largely from the Japanese set Nihil Zero
However, as our site editor Alex Evans reminds me, this resembles Magic: The Gathering's beloved 'Un-sets', and I like these fun cards - so long as they don't plague the competitive scene
Even targeted removal will trigger their abilities from Nadu, digging through their library and ramping aggressively while pulling exactly the cards they need to win
