Were generally talking about the cheapest versions of the cards found in Play boosters and Collector boosters, although some of the cards can only be found on the Retro bonus sheet (Ill mention this when relevant)
The Rise of Borderless Poster Cards This appeared to be market manipulation at first, and it may still be to some extent, but the trend has grown too large
Theyve tended to come with jokey mechanics, and they arent tournament-legal, but there are some that are close enough to normal that its hard to argue against them aside from the fact that theyre silver-bordered, especially when it comes to Unstable cards whose only weirdness is dice rolls
The Celestus #252 Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Change Version The Celestus Legendary Artifact If it's neither day nor night, it becomes day as The Celestus enters the battlefield
I love how many of the build-arounds in this set are designed in ways that are rich and deep, rather than just play all the [insert label here] you can and give them +1/+1. Geier Reach Bandit rewards Werewolves by flipping them early
I do like the ability to gain life when you cant kill an aggro opponent and need a bit of a life cushion
