counterspell mtg cards Magic: The Gathering (069) Lightly Played Counter target spell. Counterspell - MTG Single Card

Its a real YMMV card, and some decks dont have use for a 2/2 and would rather curve out

When your commander converts basic game actions into card draw, you have a winner

The deck lists roughly adhere to Frank Karsten's land count calculator as well as his mana sources calculator, with the notable exception being that I chose to run Knight of the White Orchid with only 26 white sources that can cast it on-curve despite Frank recommending 30 white sources to cast a WW spell on turn 2 consistently

Mirror Box Mirror Box is a more palatable take on Mirror Gallery, though its not really intended for Commander

I run the Golem in my Commander Cube

This isnt news to anyone whos been playing Magic a while, and the most powerful Reanimator decks in Constructed have always included incidental discard spells like Unmask to help enable their broken first-turn plays
