I do not pilot poison and stick to 10 since most infect creatures and toxic enablers aren't exactly overpowered, and having such an aggro strategy paints a giant target on your head in a multiplayer game

You can omit Brass Man once you rack up enough mana links (22+) to consistently survive early aggro, but I liked it a lot for smaller amounts of dueling before that
