The Madrigal Family Amber & Sapphire It's no secret that players are growing tired of the number of Madrigal cards, which leaves me incredibly conflicted about The Madrigal Family: it's a stunning card from a design standpoint, but it's not necessarily as playable as I would like
While there is a reasonable difference in power between Commander 2020 and the other products right out of the box, some simple upgrades can help rectify any balance issues
As a card, it looks like a fun Commander to build around
I know, 12 +1/+1 counters but still, I have to squint to see it
You can often take away one giant creature and replace it with another, but the same cant be said of the best Modern cards
The other parts you need are simply a zero-cost sacrifice outlet and some effect that can place a +1/+1 counter on creatures as they enter the battlefield: Grumgully, Path of Discovery, Juniper Order Ranger, or Rhythm of the Wild for example
