Gardevoir ex definitely derives a lot of its strength from its family: Kirlia SIT has the fantastic Refinement Ability that makes it a draw engine on par with Zoroark-GX, and you have the option to run a Kirlia CRE to use Mirage Step if you couldnt play a bunch of Ralts on your first turn
Wish you had something similar to one of the best vampire commanders, to pump out vampire tokens like theres no tomorrow
Also, Celestial Guardians was released at the end of April, so any players who have been around for a few months will most likely have the core of the deck already
It is not just about having lots of token support, you need some combat capability and removal to support them too
It is a bit too easy to hose with the card unlike Dryad Militant which is a far better hoser in the sense that it wont ruin games
The card binder is especially handy for managing an extensive online collection, as you can upload .DEK files and track your prices/cards online
