This set is a tribute to the 2006-7 Time Spiral block, including not only fan-favorite cards and mechanics from that set, but also a collection of timeshifted, classic Magic cards to add some variety
Typically you'll dredge over many cards at once, hitting some combination of Narcomoebas and Prized Amalgams, then your Illusions will trigger and get put onto the battlefield, triggering your amalgams in the graveyard to come back later
Creatures with double strike deal damage during the first strike damage step and the regular damage step
The lowliest Elf can still represent a dangerous threat with their common ability to tap for mana, allowing you to ramp ahead of your opponents and get to your big threats quicker
This card makes use of an age-old design goody, the "it seems like it's a drawback but actually it's not" card
The other big-value red card is Bloodthirsty Adversary , a mythic rare Vampire that also belongs to the multikicker cycle, valued at $6.99 due to its ability to cast instants and sorceries from the graveyard for value
