Avoid Fate One of the very few mono-green counterspells is Avoid Fate, and Im constantly surprised I dont see more people running this green instant in EDH
As a stand-alone card, Vexing Puzzlebox is okay, but with a deck loaded with dice to roll, it can quickly turn into a repeating artifact tutor
I prefer a single Seachrome Coast to the third Hallowed Fountain or a second Darksteel Citadel
Mondrak is an obvious fit into a Karador, Ghost Chieftain deck, especially one that likes to gain life (like my Halloween with Karador does) in order to offset the life loss from spending Phyrexian mana
The lord anthem works well with faeries go-to strategy: Wide, with small, tempo-oriented creatures like Spellstutter Sprite and Faerie Mastermind that could use the power boost to end the game
