Legions is a weird set

Echo Mage is a great addition to noncreature decks for its copying abilities

Wizards continued the practice through the next several expansions before eventually retiring it

Its okay for cards to not be too pushed, and Id feel better if Jared ends up being mediocre over obviously, this is what everyone will be playing now

If, by some chance, it isn't included in the explore-themed Merfolk commander precon coming with Lost Caverns of Ixalan the price will likely spike some when the deck releases

Admittedly, thats a one off for a 9.5 BGS graded copy and may well be a particularly overly ambitious seller, but even so thats a pretty amazing amount for this (or any other!) card
