What other crazy, fun, Magical Christmas Land things can we do with cards from Hour of Devastation
The cant be blocked text makes this a reasonably competitive card, perhaps even for Pioneer
Like the previous two Arena-specific remastered sets (Kaladesh Remastered and Amonkhet Remastered), 81 non-block cards will be included in the boosteres that are relevant to the theme of expansions within the original Innistrad block
This theme works on three levels: Payoffs (i.e., Judge Magister Gabranth, Al Bhed Salvagers) Sacrifice outlets (i.e., Phantom Train, Namazu Trader, Ahriman) Fodder (Hecteyes, job select equipment, Rufus Shinras poor disposable dog) A good WB deck has a healthy mix of all three, plus lots of strong removal spells like White Auracite and Sephiroth's Intervention
Its a versatile flicker with flicker right there in the name, and we respect it
To begin, I grabbed my favorite real-world deck a red/black one that I built from scratch with the recent Rivals of Ixalan release and started searching for those specific cards in the pre-baked collection Id been given access to as part of the closed beta
