vampire mtg commander deck Edgar Markov Tech Rally your forces Vampire Token // Vampire Demon

Alternative Virtue of Loyalty builds which found traction over the weekend include a UW tokens build that pairs it with Regal Bunnicorn and Invasion of New Phyrexia: Theres also this sweet white/black deck list: Virtue of Loyalty seems at its best when your creature deck is able to drag out games, and the lifegain package of Gumdrop Poisoner and Phyrexian Missionary certainly offers that

A threat/value-engine like Fable being this prevalent could be a problem, but the metagames seems to have adapted to survive it

Individually these effects are marginal: but combined they form a card that was so good, many non-red blue base decks started playing red just to get it (plus Flametongue Kavu, to be perfectly fair)

I, of course, had other ideas

Overall, Animate Dead is a great card in a lot of black decks simply because it can give you double the value for your creatures, as well as your removal spells

That should happen within the first few weeks, I think
