2 7th OCG How can you not love this card art

Crystal Barricade Rarity: Rare TYPE: Artifact Creature SUBTYPE: Wall CMC: 2 Mana cost: USD: $25.25 EUR: 16.00 TIX: 0.03 EDHREC RANK: 2123 Defender (This creature can't attack.) You have hexproof

This trap card ensures that one of your opponents monsters cant attack or change its battle position while Spellbinding Circle is face-up on the field

Champion of the Perished gives you a sizable beater but provides very little synergy with the actual deck, yet he keeps showing up in upgraded versions

And all you have to do to activate this cards effect is just control a Mystical Beast of Serket , which is a powerful level 6 monster that can absolutely steamroll your opponent

In a control deck it is a decent tempo card as the life is significant but in the agro decks the simple Incinerate is so much more forgiving on your mana and does exactly the same thing, if not more, for you
