mtg liesa forgotten archangel commander deck Liesa, $35 BUDGET Tech | DECKTOBER | EDH | Magic The Gathering Liesa, Forgotten Archangel | Promotional

Cards are exerted by turning them sideways

The lack of an Amass payoff or way to grant the army evasion makes the token feel like pure cannon fodder (which is probably what they were going for)

They have the ability to draw cards off opponents with weak board states which makes them incredibly valuable

there were Pain Lands and Slow Lands

Extra life naturally plays into mill strategies and this is the way to weaponize it

Play a 1-drop on your first turn with this red card on the battlefield, and theres every chance you can simply cast two pump spells on your second turn to make your Heartfire Hero or similar big enough to one-shot your opponent
