You can do worse for an insect commander, but you can absolutely do better
Food decks are going to be interested in this, but the mana value of The Third Doctor may restrict it somewhat
It starts to get very expensive to keep on the field after the first two turns, but after two rounds around the table youve probably drawn four to six cards off the Remora as your opponents play their mana rocks and Rampant Growths in the early game
Slaughter Singer BPhillipYork: 2 mana for a 2/2 with toxic 2 and a +1/+1 trigger for other creatures with toxic is decent for constructed but that shouldn't push the Commander dial
So that $95 current selling price on average is definitely understandable, especially when you factor in the usual, high standard of card art
Then on your end step you untap anything you control with a counter on it, so that's a good reason to toss it on your stuff or other counters too like +1/+1 counters
