In January, Tolarian Community College caused the joke card Booster Tutor to skyrocket, while a few weeks ago The Command Zone generated a 900% spike for a Reserved List card, practically overnight - Incidentally, this was also one of the few times I've personally specced on a spike (now to leave the cards in a drawer forever and forget about them as they slowly depreciate in value)
Between being able to use all your creatures as mana sources and untapping four each turn, this nets incredible amounts of mana each turn its alive
As well as making strong creatures and killing planeswalkers, Garruk can destroy a creature and gain you life
Sign in Blood and friends Ever since Night's Whisper and Sign in Blood we've had sorceries that are cheap and draw you two cards for two life
The cards have naturally been assigned magic mana colors, with the Earth Crystal associated with green, the Water Crystal blue, the Fire Crystal red, and the Wind Crystal white
