Back in the first few years of the game, matches could take a long time to complete, especially since you needed to knock out six Pokemon to win
That last bit felt particularly unsubtle because the news came less than a month before Magic s latest set, Edge of Eternities, introduced spacecraft cards (artifacts that gain abilities as you add counters to them, generated by tapping your creatures) into the game
Artifact Ramp (CTRL to add secondary) Recursion Recursion (CTRL to add secondary) Removal Removal (CTRL to add secondary) The Closer The Closer (CTRL to add secondary) Top Cover Angel's Grace Split second (As long as this spell is on the stack, players can't cast spells or activate abilities that aren't mana abilities.) You can't lose the game this turn and your opponents can't win the game this turn
Whether or not that happens, however, remains to be seen
