You can find any number of Doran decklists online (I wrote about mine here in January of this year), but dont leave home without Stoneskin from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldurs Gate what a combat trick
This makes him an interesting choice for the role, and lets you experiment with red and green Knights you may not get to use otherwise
The Mind Flayarrrs Commander Legends: Battle for Baldurs Gate Commander Deck set includes 1 ready-to-play Blue-Black deck of 100 Magic cards (3 traditional foil, 97 nonfoil), a 2-card Collector Booster Sample Pack, 1 foil-etched Display Commander (a thick cardstock copy of the commander card with foil etched into the cards border and art), 10 double-sided tokens, 1 deck box (can hold 100 sleeved cards), 1 life tracker, and 1 reference card.
These can be found in Play Boosters (non-foil versions) and Collector Boosters (foil versions)

If your recurring pods are mostly creature heavy beatdown then this can obviously help you out
