mtg negative counter commander deck Best -1/-1 Counters staple cards- July 2026 • MTG DECKS Custom Commander Deck*** Kathril, Aspect

The first thing that happens each time you are tempted is that you also choose a creature you control (if you have one) to become your Ring-bearer

If a spell or ability you control targets a creature an opponent controls with hexproof and Nowhere to Run leaves the battlefield while that spell or ability is on the stack, that creature becomes an illegal target for that spell or ability

This card's only reprint, in 2021, put it in the Witherbloom Commander precon deck for Strixhaven, where its life gain and life loss effect synergized nicely with the MTG commander, Willowdusk, Essence Seer

Booster packs will cost $5.99

Its a combat trick, a protection spell, and a tempo swing all in one, and it pairs beautifully with cheap blue creatures like Cloudfin Raptor

The range of cards allows players to craft decks based on abilities, strategy, or even just their favorite character
