To start off with the positives, I think these additional tools are honestly pretty great
Even without any other life gain in your deck, we're talking about a creature with great stats that can threaten to swing for 5 lifelink damage and make another body in the later stages of the game A one mana 1/1 with these keywords is a nice starting point
Then if it has eight or more night counters on it, remove all of them and create eight colorless snow artifact tokens named Replicated Ring with ": Add one mana of any color." Snow Artifact Rousing Refrain Add for each card in target opponent's hand
What this really is is a cheap, one-mana spell that provides a bit of security on your turn for your commander, making it a lot less likely that you get two-for-oned when you cast something like Assault StrobeAssault Strobe or Violent UrgeViolent Urge on ElshaElsha and invite in the removal
