It takes very little to make Neo Exdeath massive, which pairs nicely with cards like Rishkar's Expertise and Essence Harvest to make use of the huge body, and it does it all for a low, low mana value
The majority of the creatures in the Bogles deck have Hexproof, notably Slippery Bogle and Gladecover Scout, and cannot be targeted with Conflagrate
While black does have ways to draw cards besides conventional card draw spells, it often relies on paying life or having creatures pass in and out of the graveyard
That tends to happen with cards that players have no recourse to play against or around
Now Im not going to keep repeating how +1/+1 counter synergies are everywhere, but what I really like otherwise about the abilities here is that you can trigger them on any turn once, so if you have an engine for life gain going and triggering on every turn with say Properous Innkeeper and Beledros Witherbloom (also in the deck), youll be sitting pretty on you next turn with possibly four 7/7 racoons
