While it is worth noting that Commanders increased deck size and singleton nature does a considerable amount to rein High Tide in when compared to its potential (and ability to play 4 copies) in Legacy, this is not a card to underestimate, especially as more nonbasic lands with the Island subtype make their way into print
You can also find the 1st Edition stamp on the outside of Booster Packs and Booster Boxes from this time, which helped you to know that the cards inside were going to be 1st Edition cards
Featuring both new and returning species, the stunning illustrations make the cards valuable to collectors and players alike, with some already being valued at over a hundred dollars before release

A Gray Ogre is just abysmal, and while it has a decent activated ability that can make it a 4/4 with Haste, I dont think this does enough to be saved from being a card you cut significantly more often than you play it
This card is also a 2-drop that combos directly with other cards like Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, so youll have an empty library after casting one of those spells, and achieve a win early in the game
