The YGO anime and video games were good, but no way as iconic as Pokemon & appealing mainly to male kids/teenagers, so it failed to scale
When I say budget-friendly, that doesn't always mean cheap decks comprised of commons and uncommons
Big fan of this one, here mimicking what you might expect to see in a particularly artistic student's sketchpad or notebook
Most Deaths Shadow decks have been three colors with very low land counts, and the lands they play do really heavy lifting hitting their colored mana requirements because the spells in the deck use very little colorless mana
Bouncing their cheaper early plays also is far less effective than hitting their four and five drops
Multicolor-Colorless Hybrids This cycle of cards is really interesting to me as they dont squarely force you to be in a specific 3-color clan, but place a value on cost vs ease of casting
