most valuable non first edition pokemon cards Discover the World's Non-Holo 1st Editions? : r/PokemonInvesting

Cards that rely on your opponent to do specific actions generally aren't worth it, and this card is no exception

Base Set 1st Edition cards are extremely rare because of the fact that they were almost all sold out before the Pokmon craze really took off in England, and so the majority of the general public never got to experience those cards in the first place

This can involve changing the text, adding a first-edition stamp, or even modifying aspects of the artwork, which does not match the original prints

You can also look at the release date, shadow and special signs on the card to find out if it is 1st edition.
