Description

Are instant cards permanent

You get to constantly amass, making repeat sacrifice fodder or a huge threat that your opponents must answer

The latter is a good option if you anticipate your collection growing

For example, if a creature has two instances of riot, you could have it enter with two +1/+1 counters, one +1/+1 counter and haste, or two instances of haste

For context, The Pokmon Company printed approximately 9 billion physical cards in 2022 alone

Players were insulted by the price for what were essentially official proxies, and collectors felt the product cheapened the mystique of the original cards
