While it can be tricky for the untrained eye to determine whether a game is fake or real, there are a number of different ways you can tell with a degree of certainty
The base power and toughness of your graveyard-creature will still be equal to the number of cards in your graveyard
Creatures can't support themselves, which is kind of sad, but it means that if the ability that tells you to support is found on a permanent, the support ability can't target that permanent
At times, though, their own demand for the card has apparently pushed it out of their price range, and they've had to wait for a while for it to settle back down
You then get to retrace all your nonland permanent cards on your turn, discarding that land you got back to cast a spell from your graveyard by paying its mana cost
