'Magic: The Gathering' Unveils First 'Lord of the Rings' Cards The One Ring, Gandalf and a map of Middle Earth come to the world of Magic. Magic: The Gathering is coming to Middle-earth, linking up with Lord of the Rings for a special set of cards dubbed Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth
Back when you could post comments on Gatherer, the top comment for years running on this card was, R&D had to be high when they designed this. Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is a flying spaghetti monster that cant be countered and has protection from spells that are more than one color
Diantha and Peculiar Plaza are the key cards that make this deck playable
There are some true oddities: I would not expect a Beedrill ex/Beedrill deck to take 349th place, for instance, while a deck running every version of Gengar in the game made it into the top 100
It does a vast amount of damage and leave behind an army of serious threats that will keep you alive and then finish the job of winning the next turn
Oh, it doesnt work on Pokmon- ex or Pokmon with Dark or an owner in its name (which most people are not going to be playing anyway)
